The Dress
This is a two-piece set - a floor-length slip and a lace top.
The slip is simple and elegant - it skims the body beautifully. The silk under-slip has just enough substance to allow the dress to lie smoothly (it doesn’t cling in the wrong places). The slip has a low back with spaghetti straps and a v neckline.
Whilst the slip could be worn as is, the lace top allows the elegance of the dress to shine through whilst providing a little extra coverage. Truly the perfect pair! I was so comfortable in this dress and yet still felt gorgeous!
There are a few small marks on the dress from the wedding day, however nothing a good dry cleaner couldn’t fix!
Alterations
The length of the dress was altered to just skim the floor (I am 167cm tall and wore a modest heel). The dress was also taken in slightly at the waist and the straps shortened so they wouldn’t slip off the shoulders.
