The Dress

I absolutely loved wearing this dress, it was surprisingly really comfortable (and if I could wear it again, I definitely wouldn't sell it!).

NOTE: Height measurement is from my shoulders to the front bottom of the dress.

FEATURES - This stunning dress has corset type boning from bust to waist and a small zip with a hook and eye fasten at the back, to help put on/take off. There are 4 layers to the dress including the outer layer. (ALTERATION) I had the straps altered to cross over on my back, so the left side straps are fastened with hook + eyes/poppers.
(Straps could be altered again by a seamstress to suit your needs. In the video you can roughly see how it looked before underneath the bolero, the spaghetti straps went straight up and over the shoulders.)

DETAILING - There are beautiful sequin and lace detailing on the bust, as well as around the bottom hem line/train of the dress. The sequins and lace carry on from the bust, around the sides, to meet at the back and drips down into a V shape. The straps that cross over on the back of the dress also have clear sequins running over them. I had a hook and eye added to the back of the dress to enable hooking up the train into a waterfall style.

There is very minimal bobbling on the sides of the dress, not noticeable until you are extremely close. I imagine it can be removed, I just don't want to risk damaging the dress.

BOLERO - The sizing of the bolero on the tag says UK 18 but it's definitely smaller. I had it slightly taken in at the sleeves and sides so it's more of a UK 14 but I kept it as a loose fit, as you can see in the photos. (Note: the video is BEFORE any alterations.)
The bolero is just as stunning as the dress and has similar lace, sequin and diamante detailing around the edge of the body, as well as the ends of the bell sleeves.
The measurements for the bolero are as follows: shoulder to shoulder 48cm, arm length 62cm.

Alterations

The dress straps have been altered to cross over on my back, the left side straps are fastened with hook + eyes/poppers.
I had the bolero taken in by about an inch on the arms and body.
A hook and eye fasten has been attached to the back of the dress to enable hooking up of the train into a waterfall style.
The dress itself was taken in by about 1cm on each side of the back.
