The Dress

Margherita dress with detached puff sleeves.
Worn for once my wedding day in July 2023.
Very good condition, professionally dry cleaned after the day.

I fell in love with this dress because of its simple classic elegance. I wanted something that was timeless, and wouldn't date according to trends.
The slit at the back makes it really easy to walk, which allowed me to move freely, dance and enjoy my wedding day.

I also loved being able to style the dress in different ways for different moments of the day. For the ceremony I wore a peal beaded scarf draped over the dress (which is a something that references the traditional style of my cultural heritage.) For the evening I removed the scarf and added the puff sleeves, giving the appearance of an outfit change for the second half of the night.

Alterations

Stiff netting added to the inside of the detachable sleeves so that they stay puffed and structured.

Hemmed to my height (168cm/ 5ft 6in) when wearing a 3.5 inch/8cm heel
